The Two Paths to Your "C"
All supervision is currently tailored for Georgia-based MSW/LMSWs.
1. Individual Supervision: The Specialized Deep Dive
This is a one-on-one, 60-minute space dedicated entirely to your professional evolution and the "Use of Self" in the room.
-
Crisis-Informed Strategy: Drawing from my background as a first responder and inpatient clinician to help you navigate high-acuity cases with confidence.
-
The Clinical Pivot: Targeted support for clinicians transitioning from administrative or care management roles into deep, direct clinical therapy.
-
Reflective Practice: Exploring how your personal history and reactions impact your clinical judgment and boundaries.
-
Trauma-Informed Lens: I provide a framework focused on nervous system safety and stabilization for trauma survivors
2. Group Supervision: The Collaborative Cohort
A 90-minute structured experience designed to foster community and bridge the gap between MSW education and advanced mastery.
-
The 90-Minute Split: 45 minutes of Core Clinical Domains (Ethics, GA Law, Assessment, and Diagnosis) followed by 45 minutes of Direct Case Consultations.
-
Structured Peer Review: You will present cases using a Biopsychosocial-Spiritual Framework, receiving direct feedback in a safe, professional space.
-
Shared Wisdom: Normalize the "imposter syndrome" and the ethical hurdles of early practice alongside peers who understand the unique landscape of Georgia social work.
Professional Clinical Background
My approach to supervision is built on over 7 years of direct practice in the medical, community, and managed care sectors. I’ve worked through the full spectrum of care—from first-response crisis scenes to inpatient stabilization and long-term care management.
Clinical Experience & Settings
-
Crisis Intervention & First Response: Served as a Mobile Crisis Clinician, providing on-site assessments and stabilization in high-stakes environments where rapid clinical judgment was essential.
-
Inpatient Psychiatry: Conducted crisis stabilization, treatment planning, and group therapy in an acute inpatient setting, collaborating directly with psychiatrists and medical teams to manage patient transitions.
-
Managed Care & Case Management: Managed high-acuity caseloads, delivering short-term, solution-focused interventions and ensuring strict state and federal compliance.
-
Child Welfare & Social Services: Performed deep-dive biopsychosocial assessments to address child maltreatment and family functioning for the Georgia Department of Family & Children Services.
-
Program Leadership & Supervision: Supervised service coordinators for the Georgia Department of Public Health, where I led staff training and quality improvement initiatives to align program goals with measurable outcomes.
-
Program Development: Led program development as an Education Navigator, conducting needs assessments and creating advocacy plans to support the educational and personal success of at-risk youth.
