Clinical Group Supervision for MSW & LMSW
(Starting February 2026)
Are you an MSW graduate or LMSW looking to deepen your clinical skills while meeting the requirements for LCSW licensure? Join our structured, collaborative supervision group designed to support early-career social workers in navigating the complexities of clinical practice.
In accordance with Georgia Board Rules, this group provides a safe, professional space to bridge the gap between foundational education and advanced clinical mastery.
What We Cover: Clinical Pillars & Case Presentations
Our 90-minute "provision session subdivision" is designed to maximize clinical learning. Each session is split into targeted professional development and Direct Case Consultations.
1. Core Clinical Topics
Over the 6-week cycle, we rotate through essential domains required for the ASWB Clinical Exam and high-level practice:
-
Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis: Moving beyond the DSM-5-TR to understand the person-in-environment.
-
Treatment Planning: Developing measurable, evidence-based goals for diverse populations.
Ethics & Georgia Law: Navigating mandatory reporting, subpoenas, and HIPAA.
-
The Therapeutic Relationship: Managing countertransference and building a strong clinical "Use of Self."

2. Structured Case Presentations
The heart of our group is the Case Presentation. Following Georgia’s standard for "direct clinical review," each member will present a case using a structured biopsychosocial-spiritual framework.
The Presentation Template Includes:
-
Identifying Data: Non-identifying demographics to maintain strict confidentiality.
-
The Presenting Problem: The "Why Now?" of the client's current crisis or symptoms.
-
Biopsychosocial Assessment: Review of medical history, family dynamics, and social supports.
-
Intervention Strategy: Identifying the modalities (CBT, DBT, Narrative, etc.) being utilized.
-
The "Clinical Ask": A specific question for the group (e.g., "How do I handle this boundary crossing?" or "What goals am I missing?").
