What Is an Immigration Mental Health Evaluation?
An immigration mental health evaluation is a structured clinical assessment that documents emotional and psychological functioning and the impact of trauma, persecution, violence, or hardship. The resulting report is prepared for immigration legal proceedings and may support an attorney’s filing.

Evaluation Process
Step 1: Inquiry & Pre-Screening
A brief review confirms fit, timeline needs, and case type.
Step 2: Sessions
Most evaluations are completed in two sessions (typically 60–90 minutes each).
Step 3: Report Writing
A detailed report is prepared after sessions and any applicable records review.
Step 4: Delivery
The final report is delivered securely to the client and/or attorney (as authorized).

Fee structure and timelines are shared upon case referral. Expedited services available when needed.

This Service Is Not Therapy
Immigration evaluations are forensic/clinical assessments for legal purposes and are not psychotherapy. No ongoing therapeutic relationship is established through the evaluation process.
Interpretation Services
Interpretation services are not provided at this time. If an interpreter is needed, arrangements must be made in advance (often through the attorney or client).
Psychological Testing
Psychological testing (e.g., IQ testing, neuropsychological testing) is not provided.
